Dunhaven Place Goes to Galindo House
Dunhaven Place isn't just about finding lovely pretties for your home and garden--it's also about the many places we find inspiration and rejuvenation. To that end we are thrilled to be able to say that The Galindo House Museum, after twelve long years of working and waiting, will soon be open to the public. As a very interested nosbody I was privileged to be able to spend a little time in the house during its final stages of preparation and on the day it was opened to the members of the Concord Historical Society.
A few months back Dunhaven Place was visited by Jan Trolan, dedicated member of the historical society and all around super hard worker, and several purchases were made to grace this home. I was thrilled to see this painting hanging on the wall of the green sitting room.
It quite simply never looked better!
A trip to the Galindo House at 1721 Amador Avenue is well worth the trip! Starting May 6th the house will be open for visitors from 1-4 on Sundays and 12-4 on Wednesdays. Many thanks to Jan Trolan and her team for making this girls twelve year old dream of seeing this house in all its glory a reality!
